Redevelopment of the Benny Farm site has been in full swing since early 2004 with most of the new housing either completed or under construction. The construction of the new CSSS Cavendish (formerly CLSC) is expected to begin in 2009.

17/09/07	An important part of Benny Farm redevelopment fell into place when CLC accepted an offer to purchase from la Corporation d'hébergement du Québec for the acquisition of land at the corner of Cavendish and Monkland. This is the future site of the Centre de santé et services sociaux Cavendish whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of the population on its territory.
